1920's Vintage Romance | The Pacific Club | Newport Beach, CA

This 1920's themed wedding took place at the beautiful country club, The Pacific Club in Newport Beach, CA. The ceremony was set outside in front of a gorgeous waterfront. A wooden arch draped in white with crystal drag hung above the couple and white floral columns stood right beside them as they said Yes!

The wedding design focused on prominent black men and women during this era and colors such as shades of gold, ivory, and black reflected the time period. Each table's name encompassed a specific person and what they were most known for. We went for a speakeasy ambiance featuring vintage table lanterns, candles, feathers and pearls with a dim amber lighting to set the mood. Hand custom Betty Noir lettered signs greeted each guest and guided them through each wedding area. Floral was white and off-white and could not be found without ostrich feathers or pearl beads to accompany them.

The couple, staying true to the era during prohibition, opted for a dry wedding and instead provided 20's themed Mocktails. Guest's enjoyed their fizzy's during dinner while listening to the lounge singer and her band. Later on in the night guests, all dressed in 1920's attire, danced to oldie but goodies and had fun taking memorable keep sake photos at the Photo Booth. Overall this wedding was what they liked to say back then , "the Bees Knees".
